Upon her appointment, Venetia said: “I am delighted to be joining PCEP today. Polyolefins are amazing highly versatile materials; the most widely used family of plastics, they are fully recyclable. What we need now is to make sure they are reused or recycled, and to create a market for that recycled material. PCEP’s members are committed to that goal. It is exciting to help drive the value chain forward on this journey towards circularity.”

As the former head of the team of environment and energy consultants at BCW (formerly Burson-Marsteller) Brussels, Venetia is experienced in both the big picture policy and the technical details of European and international environmental, standardisation, product and waste policies. For more than 10 years she has advised companies, civil society, EU institutions and trade associations on how to identify the solution to their challenge, engage with each other and successfully communicate their stories.

“We are delighted to have Venetia on board. Bringing her experience to help PCEP deliver on its commitments and take the polyolefin value chain forward into a bright future”, said David Baker, Chairman PCEP.
